OPTIMUM USE of
ECOPLUGâ
MAX containing GLYPHOSATE
APPLICATION
TECHNIQUE
Start by
drilling a hole with a 13 mm drill or use the special drill from ECOPLUG SWEDEN
AB. The hole should be 30-35 mm
deep. It may be drilled from above or from the side. In drilling from above, it
is important to place the hole as close to the bark as possible because the
tree’s transport system is directly under the bark. In both methods you need
to drill holes round the stump at intervals of 6-8 cm. If there are buttress
roots, apply an ECOPLUG to each of them. Put an ECOPLUG in each hole and use a
hammer to drive it in. Drive the ECOPLUG in completely so that its head seals
the drilled hole, then the plug will open up in the hole.
For best
results, stump treatment should be done not more than two days after felling.
ECOPLUGs can be used in any weather at any time of the year.
Use
the same technique as above, but trees need 1.5 times as many ECOPLUGs.
THE
PLUG MUST NOT BE OPENED!
